Plant 10 trees – 2 of each – of the following 5 species :-

An attractive selection of 10 Native Trees to add colour and diversity including:-

2 Alder (6-8) – Medium sized tree with sticky young growths and yellow catkins

2 Silver Birch (6-8′) – graceful white stemmed medium tree aptly named ‘Lady of the Woods’

2 Bird Cherry (6-8′) – Small almond scented white spring blossom, produced in slender drooping racemes with bold Autumnal tints and black bitter tasting fruits.

2 Hornbeam (6′-8′) – a Medium to large size tree with characteristic grey, fluted trunk & ovate serrated ribbed leaves.

2 Crab Apple (5-6′) – Flowers white, suffused pink, followed by yellowish-green then red flushed fruits

The planting season for bare-rooted trees and shrubs is generally between the months of November – March
