Pyracantha Saphyr Yellow (Espalier)

Pyracantha Saphyr Yellow (Yellow Firethorn) is a spiny, prickly bushy dense evergreen climbing shrub, with small dark green leaves and clusters of white flowers that emerge in late spring early summer followed by decorative yellow berries from summer through to autumn.

This is a hardy climber that is relatively disease resistant and highly decorative with its lovely profusion of ornamental berries after flowering. This climber is a great fence or wall cover.

Pyracantha Saphyr Yellow is a wildlife friendly addition to the garden that will be much appreciated by the birds, bees and butterflies.

Yellow Firethorn will reach a maximum height of 4 metres and a maximum spread of 3 metres. It likes full sun and partial shade, and any well drained fertile soil.
