Always consider using a soil improver or tree planting compost when planting young trees and shrubs to ensure a healthy and successful establishment of your plants.

Aim to plant your trees within 7 days of receipt. Keep them in the forestry bag in which they have been supplied so the roots don’t dry out and store them in cool, frost-free conditions until planting.

Heel in to soil for safe keeping if planting is likely to be delayed for more than 7-10 days.

Apply residual herbicides this month if appropriate and always follow the manufacturers guideline and instructions.
