Plum Jubilee

The Jubilee Plum is a popular hardy dual purpose plum fruit tree (Victoria × Czar parentage). It is widely considered an improved, larger alternative to the classic Victoria dessert plum.

Medium to large, oval-shaped fruit with dark red to purple skin and violet speckling.

Firm, juicy, golden-yellow freestone flesh (the stone easily separates when sliced) with a well-balanced, sweet flavor.

Excellent for eating fresh as a dessert plum, as well as for culinary use for cooking in jams, pies, and stewing.

Harvest in mid-August (typically ripening about 7 to 10 days earlier than Victoria).

Self-fertile  meaning it can crop heavily on its own without a separate pollinator.

Bred for cold climates, it is exceptionally frost-hardy and handles UK winters well.
