Spring Time Brings The End of the Tree Planting Season  

The onset of springtime has brought an end to the tree planting season and we will not be accepting any orders placed over the web site from Thursday 1st April.

Thank you for your custom over the winter period and we look forward to supplying plants again from November 2021.


Covid-19 Update of Procedures at Thorpe Trees during the Covid Crisis.

The Nursery remains open for business for the forthcoming planting season with enquiries and orders welcome at all times.

The main sales office will be closed to customers and visitors and we ask that all enquiries and correspondence be made over the telephone, web site or e-mail ([email protected]).

General visitors will not be permitted on to the nursery at this current time unless by prior arrangement.


Orders placed over the web site will require payment to complete the transaction and those received by e-mail or over the telephone will be acknowledged accordingly and for which we request full payment is made prior to collection or despatch. Payment can be made by either BACS transfer or credit/debt card as preferred.

Customers must ensure the order is correct upon completion as we will not be able to make further amendments or additions to the paperwork.


A dedicated despatch area has been made to the inside the main nursery gates for the collection of pre-arranged orders where goods will be ready for collection on the agreed date with the relevant paperwork attached.

Please wear appropriate face coverings, safe distance and hand sanitise on arrival and departure from the nursery. A member of staff will assist with loading but will not be available for extended discussion whilst you are here.


We intend to deliver orders to customers as arranged with the office by either are own delivery van, National carrier or Pallet-line as appropriate. Please advise where goods may be left on site when placing your order and do not assist drivers unloading without respecting all safety measures at the time.

We will endeavour to fulfil the safe despatch of all orders throughout the planting season and request that customers respect the safety of the Nursery staff at all times.

I want to ensure you that we aim to continue to offer a full and dedicated service to all of our customers – we acknowledge this is a difficult time which requires understanding and co-operation form all concerned.
