Typical Mixed Hedge: 5 – 8 plants per metre
We are frequently asked to put together a selection of native plants to create a traditional mixed native hedgerow and the follwing is what we suggest although you can always substitute or add another species of your choice. Quickthorn usually forms the basis of a typical field hedge with other shrubs adding colour and interest.
Planting is recommended @ 6 plants per metre in a double staggered row although this can be changed to suit individual conditions.
