Prunus Sunset Boulevard – Ornamental Flowering Cherry – (Containerised)

The Prunus Sunset Boulevard has large single white, pink tinged flowers which are held on the tree in pairs, giving maximum impact. The flowers typically hold on the tree for longer than many other cherries giving an extended show.  The emerging coppery foliage, contrasts well with the flowers which then as the summer progresses turns to green and then golden yellow in the autumn time.

When young, this columnar flowering cherry tree, is suitable for narrower spaces, and broadens with age to a more oval shape at maturity.

The planting season for bare-rooted trees and shrubs is generally between the months of November – March
