Acer Platanoides – Norway Maple (Whips) – Available from November 2026

Attractive, fast-growing, large tree growing to approximately 18-21m (60-70ft) suitable for woodlands and shelter belts on a variety of soils. Bright yellow conspicuous clusters of flowers in late March or early April, Fruits have nearly horizontal wings ripening from green to brown, often persisting on the tree in winter. Finely pointed lobed leaves turn deep yellow, occasionally flushing red in autumn.
